How to reach the shelter

1. From Ruz in the municipality of Bionaz (1696 m.) within 2 hours you can reach the shelter following the easy dirt track (trail sign n. 2). Going on through the wood you will reach Alpe Berrier (2192 m.) where you will notice the Alta Via trail 3 sign which will lead you to shelter's door.

2. Departing from Crêtes (1671 m.) the route is a bit longer than the previous one, but it allows you to do part of the way through larch woods, going on a path over the rocks. Carrying then on trough the wood you will reach first Baou de Bouque (2129 m.), and than you will reach Alpe Berrier (2192 m.) where you will follow Alta Via trail 3 signs to the shelter.

3. From Chez-Chenoux (1726 m.), saving more than 100 m. of elevation gain, you will have to carry on until Alpe Granron (1883 m.). From there you will go up until Alpe Berrier (2192 m.) and than you will continue towards the shelter following Alta Via trail 3 signs. Route duration: 2h30m.
