Introduction

Hello and welcome everyone to the virtual Crête Sèche shelter. We will try, in a few words and many pictures, to give you a bit of those emotions and feelings that the places and people surrounding us up here offer to us everyday. We want to thank everyone who will come to see us because it is thanks to our guests that we have the great chance to live for four months per year in a really unique world!

You could go hiking or mountaineering, climb up the historical routes of the Vierge de l'Aroletta or... enjoy a taste of the typical genuine products! We will try to welcome you with simplicity and friendliness to let you enjoy not only our mountains but also that special atmosphere that often surround the shelter, thanks probably to the lack of those habits which invade everyday life. As a matter of fact we don't have television, we don't have internet, we don't go shopping... but we stay together!

Moreover, you could meet Pedrì and Esperanza, the two donkeys that have been helping us for the last five years to carry goods to the shelter.
