Children's corner

Daniele and Ilenia are both primary school's teachers. They taught for some years, but then mountain called them and they changed their life!

Both, anyway, feel nostalgia for that moments spent with children when they could forget life's sadnesses thanks to a smile or a hug. What they miss mainly is children's simplicity and candour. Is to enjoy of that emotions and that values that only children can give and taught to us that they decided (besides having a baby!) to organize activities for children to the shelter. After the first experience they understood that the Crête Sèche wasn't a place exclusively for mountaineers and climbers, but it could also welcome children. Strangely enough, the best evenings has been those in which there were both mountaineers and children. Children are interested in what mountaineers have in their backpack (pitons, axes, cams, crampons, …) and mountaineers are proud to tell their undertaking to that “little” audience.

Thus, we found out that two different kind of guests were able to stay together and meet perfectly!
